As a reminder, this resource list a living document that will change and grow as we discover new resources. In an attempt to monitor the effectiveness of Counseling Ministries, please consider the following follow up process:
  1. Person presents with mental health need (individual, couple, family, group counseling)
  2. If pastor determines referral is appropriate, he/she provides list of resources to person and notifies Robin at robin.ewy@gmail.com that referral was made. To protect confidentiality, no names will be shared.
  3. Counseling resources will be encouraged to notify Robin if a referral was made through Northwest District Counseling Ministries.
Thank you all for your patience as we fine-tune this process. If you have resources that you would like to add to the Counseling Ministry Referral list, please let me know.

Grief Resources:

Grieving the loss of someone we love is a complicated, emotional journey. It’s a painful time, and if not handled in healthy ways, can impact a person’s mental health. Since it looks like this is a topic you’re familiar with and that people look to you for guidance on, would you be willing to add a few grief-related resources somewhere on your site?
